I had the most amazing and relaxing holiday!
It was truly wonderful.
My postcard hunting was ridiculous and I'm almost embarrassed to say that I bought (aprox) 2000 postcards.
There was this little shop with a closing down sale. The kind lady sold me 1800 cards for less than £5 (€6,80) ($7.60)
I nearly cried haha.
Later in the week I found the Marimekko box set. That's another 100 cards. The box was £14.99 but she gave me a £2 discount because I buy quite a lot from her shop.
Her shop is called: Hawksbys and she is located on the Main Str. in Haworth.
Well worth the visit!
Almost every day I found some local postcards and tourist postcards.
The post office employee asked me if I knew that many people because I kept coming in to send more cards.
I explained a few people what Postcrossing is, throughout the week, and they all loved the idea.
Unfortunately a holiday will end some time and this morning was that time. Sadly enough!
But there was post for me.. *inner cheer* And a Hurray from Germany.
2 Postcrossing cards, both from Russia. 3 postcards from family and friends in The Netherlands and an envelope with cards from a swap from the USA.
And just now the postman delivered a handwritten letter and postcards and a little leaflet from Tokyo Japan *heart heart heart*
Today I will be writing a letter to Japan, take some more photo's for this website and sort all my new goodies.
Good times!
