Yay! My first card. It's so beautiful! The stamps are amazing too. The Titanic and a dragon, wow. I received this one from Canada (extra special because of the location of the Titanic graveyard, Halifax Nova Scotia) on July the 8th 2015 ID: CA-546246 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Charlie, you are THE man!! I received these 3 cards on 23-10-15 from Northern Ireland. On his profile, I noticed a Titanic card and I decided to write a message, requesting a swap. Tadaaaa, best cards in the world! A New York times card. The poster is up my wall whoop whoop. A boarding pass!! Wow and the ship itself. What a brilliant mix! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ More cards from Charlie! Wow, thanks so much! I owe you :D ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ As part of the Lottery I won. Thank you Nordbaer to add to my collection! An obsession...
I collect everything I can get about this ship. Postcards are quite hard to get though. I have a big wall of posters, plaques, photo's, music sheets and even a real piece of coal from the actual ship. My prized possession. One of my Dutch friends sent me a Titanic board game and I found another one in a local charity shop. I bought a postcard book for my collection. I wasn't going to send any to anyone until I got the profile of a girl who loves The Titanic too. I thought about it for a bit and decided to send one of my personal cards to her. As a thank you, I got an empty ''hurray''. (for ppl not quite used to Postcrossing yet, a Hurray is the message you get when your card gets registered) I was so sad! It felt awful. Not even a thank you, just empty. The joy I felt when I got a Titanic postcard in my postbox!! I'll treasure it forever. Postcards I would like to receive you say? Anything and everything please! haha The ship, the people, graves, the film even. Anything. |
