I absolutely adore '' Ever & Ein's'' their cards but this one is extra cute!! I received this one on 18-11-15 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
10-12-15, a private swap from China. The first one didn't arrive, (same as the one above) so she sent another one. This card was sent to me by Lin San and it had to be a swap as there is no ID on the card.
The date on the card is 20 May 2009. I love what she wrote to me: I went for a walk in a park this morning. Busy birds singing, children playing, conversation in the distance, all leaves turning yellow. Saw a little girl with 3 maple leaves in her hand So cute Best wishes Lin San. I could feel the sun and hear the birds. It's amazing what something like a postcard can do with my emotions. The stamps are all photo's of post war, called: News from home Early air mail Post war immigration I received this card on the 17 th of February 2009 from Carolien. A Dutch woman who moved to Aruba a few years before.
We became friends through Postcrossing and sent each other a few cards. Unfortunately we have lost contact and she is no longer a Postcrossing member. I might send her an email again, to see how she is doing. These type of cards are a new found love.
I never really appreciated them until this week. As so many Postcrossers do, I was ''favourite-ing'' a lot of cards and decided I want to create my own world map with pictorial map cards. So far I have: Aruba Australia Camino de Santiago (also under religious cards) |
